Implanon (Hormone implant): The costs of Implanon vary depending on whether your consultation is for an insertion, removal or replacement.

IUDs: This does not include the cost of the script for a Mirena from a Chemist. If the woman chooses a Copper IUD, then this is an additional cost.

MTOP: This does not include the cost of an ultrasound or medication. Financial assistance may be available through Women’s Health Tasmania or the Youth Health Fund.

  • The GAP is the out-of-pocket expense once you have paid your account in full and received the applicable Medicare rebate.
  • The Concession fee is for patients who have a current Pension or HealthCare card
  • Payments will be taken at the time of consultation. The Medicare rebate is refunded instantly into your bank account when paying electronically.
